Boston Express Cab Terms & Conditions: Know Before You Ride

Booking & Services:

  • Child Seats: Only available in minivans due to space limitations.
  • Luggage: Restrictions apply based on vehicle capacity.
  • Hourly Service: Limited to a 20-mile radius. For longer trips, choose door-to-door or long-distance service.
  • Cancellations: Accepted up to 8 hours before service time, no refunds for late cancellations.

Fees & Tolls:

  • Airport Tolls: Two-way toll charged for pick-up and drop-off as per Airport Authority rules.
  • Long-Distance Tolls & Parking: Paid directly to driver (cash) or post-service (credit card).
  • Holiday Surcharge: $10 added for service on public holidays.
  • Gratuity: 20% included in the service fee.
  • Night Service: $10 extra for service between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am.

Airport Shuttle:

  • Shared Rides: Driving distance may vary due to passenger pick-up stops.

International Travelers:

  • Free Wait Time: 45 minutes after flight lands (sedans: $55/hour, minivans: $65/hour after). Timely cancellation is crucial.

Cancellation & No-Shows:

  • Massachusetts: Cancellations within 3 hours of pick-up incur a full fare charge.
  • Outside Massachusetts: Cancellations within 6 hours of pick-up incur a full fare charge.
  • No-Shows: Full fare charged for all no-shows.

Wait Times:

  • Non-Airport Pick-Ups: 15-minute grace period before wait time applies.
  • Domestic Arrivals: 30-minute grace period before wait time applies.
  • International Arrivals: 60-minute grace period before wait time applies.
