Frontier Is Launching Nonstop Flights From Boston To Two Warm-Weather Destinations.

To celebrate the new routes, travelers can enjoy limited-time fares of $29 and $49. Frontier Airlines is offering Bostonians more options to escape the winter chill.

The Denver-based ultra low-fare carrier announced new nonstop service between Logan Airport and two Florida cities—Miami and Tampa—starting December 17.

According to the airline, flights to Miami will operate four times a week, while flights to Tampa will run daily from Logan Airport.

“Just in time for the chilly New England winter months, we’re excited to expand our service at Boston Logan International Airport with the addition of these two popular Florida destinations,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines, in a statement. “There is strong demand for affordable flights to Miami and Tampa, and we’re proud to provide low-cost travel options to MIA, TPA, and beyond from Boston.”

To celebrate the new routes, Frontier is offering a promotional fare of $49 to Miami and $29 to Tampa, both available for purchase until October 7.

With these new routes, Frontier will serve a total of 10 destinations from Boston.

In March, Frontier launched Upfront Plus, an upgraded seating option that allows travelers to enjoy a window or aisle seat with extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat.
